Aerolink operates two daily flights from Entebbe International Airport to Kihihi Airstrip, which is just a 1.5-hour drive from the Buhoma region of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The scheduled morning flight departs at 07:45 AM, arriving at Kisoro Airstrip by 08:50 AM, where a lodge vehicle will be ready to transfer you to your accommodation (approximately 1 hour by road).

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Fly-In Gorilla Safari to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park.
Your 3-day fly-in gorilla safari begins with an early breakfast at your hotel before a shuttle transfer to Entebbe Airport at 6:45 AM for check-in. A G S Uganda Travel representative will meet you, provide a detailed briefing about your gorilla trekking adventure, and ensure a seamless transfer in a comfortable touring vehicle to the airport.
Your Aerolink flight departs Entebbe at 7:45 AM, arriving at Kisoro/Kihihi Airstrip by 8:50 AM. Upon arrival, a lodge vehicle will be ready to transfer you to your accommodation (1 hour 30-minute drive).
After check-in and lunch at the lodge, you can choose from optional afternoon activities:
- Visit the Batwa (Pygmy) community ($30–$50 USD) to learn about their traditional lifestyle, including how they hunt, cook, and live.
- Go canoeing on Lake Mutanda, taking in the breathtaking scenery.
- Relax at the lodge with a refreshing drink, enjoying the serene surroundings.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Adventure in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Uganda
Today is the highlight of your safari – gorilla trekking to meet the majestic mountain gorillas! After an early breakfast, you’ll receive a briefing from the park head quarters by at 7:30 am before heading into the jungle for your gorilla trekking adventure at 8am, The trek through the rainforests and bamboo-covered slopes, guided by expert trackers, may take anywhere from 2 to 8 hours, depending on where the gorillas are located. The terrain can be steep and muddy, and rain is always a possibility, so be prepared for a physical challenge.
Once you find a gorilla family, you’ll be guided to within 6 meters of them. You’ll have one hour to sit quietly and observe these incredible creatures up close, including the powerful silverback. It’s an unforgettable experience that will make all the effort worth it.
After the trek, you’ll return to the park headquarters, where you’ll receive a certificate to commemorate your gorilla safari. In the evening, relax by the campfire, take a walk to visit the Batwa community, or simply unwind at the lodge

Day 3: Departure from Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
On your last day of 3 Days gorilla Safari fly in Bwindi National Park Uganda, you will have an early morning breakfast before leaving Bwindi Impenetrable National park, transfer from the lodge at 0730 to the airstrip for the 0930 for your flight back to Entebbe International airport. Arrival time will be 11:55 hrs, 45 min transfer to Kihihi/ Kisoro & 1h10 min flight be received our agent who will drop you back to your hotel, or remain at Entebbe international airport for your next destination.
