Detailed Itinerary:

DAY 1: Arrive at Entebbe and drive to Lake Mburo National Park for Wildlife Game Safari

The 2 days lake mburo vacation commences upon your arrival at Entebbe in the early morning, you will be greeted by our Gorilla Safaris Uganda tour guide who will accompany you throughout the trip. After breakfast, we will depart for Mbarara in western Uganda, passing through Masaka. Along the way, we will stop at the Royal Drum Makers and art crafts market in Mpambire, where you can purchase locally made art and crafts. Our next stop will be at the equator point, where the northern and southern hemispheres meet. Stand over the equator line and capture the moment with photographs. We will then proceed to Mbarara for lunch.After lunch, we will head to Lake Mburo National Park where you can witness wild animals grazing alongside domestic cattle. We will enter the park through the Nshara gate and in the afternoon, you can enjoy a boat trip on Lake Mburo itself. As the sun sets, we will retire for the evening at your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 2: Embark on a morning game drive in lake Mburo National Park and transfer back to Kampala and Entebbe for your departure back home

Have early morning breakfast and regroup at the lodge to start an early morning game drive through the national park with your guides on spacious 4 wheel drive vehicles.during the game drive in Lake Mburo National Park, you can expect to see a variety of African wildlife such as impalas, waterbucks, cape buffalos, oribis, hyenas, topis, reed bucks, leopards, zebras, elands, antelopes, and more. The park is also a bird-watching paradise with numerous species to be spotted, including the rare Red-faced Barbet. if time permits you can take guided hikes or drives through the park’s beautiful rolling hills, open grass valleys, thickets, woodlands, and rich wetlands to observe the flora and fauna. A boat trip on Lake Mburo is also a great way to view wildlife such as crocodiles and hippos.

You will return to the lodge to have breakfast and prepare to check out, with your packed lunch we go back for more adventure, as we driver getting out of the Mburo national park and onto your way back to Kampala.
