Day 1: Arrive in Entebbe and begin your 8 days Uganda safari adventure in Queen Elizabeth National Park with a chimpanzee and wildlife safari.
Arrive at Entebbe and Embark on an exciting journey with our knowledgeable safari guide or company representative, who will warmly greet you and transport you to the breathtaking Queen Elizabeth National Park, formerly known as Rwenzori National Park. This magnificent park boasts an array of wildlife and habitats, from the vast expanse of open savannah to the lush rainforest, dense swamps, stunning crater lakes, and the vastness of Lake Edward. Prepare to encounter an impressive range of Savannah wildlife species, including majestic buffaloes, fierce lions, elusive leopards, cunning spotted hyenas, massive hippos, and the elusive giant forest hog.
Encounter an array of primates as you journey through Queen Elizabeth National Park, including playful chimpanzees, striking black and white colobus monkeys, vibrant blue and black-faced red colobus, majestic red-tailed monkeys, and mischievous olive baboons. Day 4: Transfer from Queen Elizabeth National Park to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for gorilla trekking in Uganda.
Enjoy a delicious morning breakfast before heading to the stunning Bwindi National Park. En route, savor a delectable lunch and embark on a thrilling game drive through the Ishasha sector. Witness the majestic tree-climbing lions perched in Acacia trees. After the game drive, continue to Bwindi National Park for more exciting adventures.

Day 5: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park of Uganda
Start your day with a nourishing breakfast before heading to the park headquarters for a briefing on your gorilla trek. Embark on a challenging yet exhilarating journey as you trek up steep, densely forested hills in search of the majestic mountain gorillas. The trek can last anywhere from half an hour to five hours, so make sure you are in good physical condition and have comfortable, sturdy walking shoes. Once you reach the gorillas, you will be mesmerized by their presence, as you sit in the forest listening to them communicate with each other. The sheer size and power of the dominant male, or silverback, will leave you in awe. You’ll feel humbled and privileged to be in the company of these magnificent creatures, especially knowing that there are only around 650 mountain gorillas left in the world. Lunch will be hard en-route.
In the afternoon, if you’re feeling up to it, take a guided walk on the Munyaga River trail. This leisurely hike will take you through stunning scenery, including three crystal clear waterfalls, a variety of colorful orchids, and an array of butterflies. Keep your eyes peeled for primates and birds that inhabit the forest edge. This trail is perfect for those who want to explore the beauty of Bwindi National Park at a more relaxed pace.

Day 6: Transfer and embark on a journey to Lake Mburo National Park for an awe-inspiring wildlife encounter
Have break fast early in the morning and start your journey that will take you through a picturesque landscape of twisting, winding roads and lakeside countryside, before reaching the lower thorn and savannah scrub lands of Lake Mburo National Park. This unique part of Uganda boasts extensive acacia woodland, giving rise to a diverse range of fauna not seen in other reserves.
Lake Mburo is a true gem, offering unparalleled opportunities to spot some of Uganda’s most impressive wildlife, including the majestic eland antelope, as well as zebra, topi, impala, and a variety of acacia-associated birds. With five serene lakes within the park, we’ll have the chance to witness hippos, crocodiles, and numerous waterbirds, while the swamps offer the chance to glimpse rare species such as the elusive sitatunga antelope and the striking red, black, and yellow papyrus gonolek.

Day 7: Go for a Nature walk to the Salt Lick and later Canoe ride at Lake Mburo National Park
Start your day with a delicious breakfast before embarking on a captivating nature walk to the nearby salt lick. This walk encapsulates the essence of the park, and at the carefully positioned wooden hide, you’ll have the opportunity to observe at least four different species of animals as they lick the salty soil. It’s fascinating to witness this behavior, which occurs without the animals even realizing it.
After the walk, return to the lodge for a scrumptious lunch before heading out for a serene canoe ride along the tranquil waters of Lake Mburo. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery and keep your eyes peeled for any wildlife that may be grazing or drinking along the lake’s edge.

DAY 8: Take a city tour (depending on your flight time) to conclude your 8-day Uganda safari.
Have an early morning breakfast before setting off on a journey to Kampala. Depending on your flight time you can embark on a city before departure. Kampala known as the ‘city on the hills,’ was named after its original location on seven hills that provided key points of direction and distinctiveness. These hills have close ties to Uganda’s colonial history and continue to play a vital role in modern-day Kampala.
During your partial city tour, your guide will take you to visit several of these iconic hills and landmarks. You’ll explore Rubaga Hill, the heart of the Catholic center, and visit the impressive Rubaga Cathedral. Next, you’ll venture to Namirembe Hill, the epicenter of the Protestant community, where you’ll have the opportunity to see the stunning Namirembe Cathedral then some shopping at the African craft markets at the National Theatre or Buganda Road craft market.
You’ll also visit Uganda Museum, Makerere Hill, the location of the oldest university campus in Uganda, and Kibuli Hill, the Islamic center of the city. Additionally, you’ll stop at Mengo Hill, which is home to the Kabaka’s palace and serves as a center for Buganda’s central government and then depart for Entebbe Airport for your departure and end of 8 days Uganda Safari to Gorillas, Chimpanzees and Wildlife
