Day 1: Arrival, Kigali City Tour & Transfer to Volcanoes National Park.
Upon arriving in Kigali airport, you will be taken on a city tour where you will have the opportunity to explore the bustling Kigali local market, the informative National Museum, and the solemn genocide memorial sites. After lunch in the city, you will be transported to the north to the stunning Volcanoes National Park in Ruhengeri, , home to a population of over 400 mountain gorillas. Experience and take part in cultural encounters with local communities, offering a deeper understanding of Rwanda’s people, culture, history and way of life. At the end of the day, return to your accommodation, which is ideally located for viewing endangered Rwanda Mountain Gorillas in their natural habitat.
